Question by lurleeloola: What are classic artists that everyone should have on their playlists?

I'm fairly young and now that I've been listening to a lot of Michael Jackson, I'm curious of other artists from the past that I should be sure to listen to. I'd like artists from any genre but I want the classics.

I'm a rocker, so you're gonna get a lot of classic rock.

Led Zeppelin - any and all songs!
Pink Floyd - all songs
Black Sabbath - all the stuff with Ozzy is my favorite, but you can check out the later years with Dio
the Doors - all
Genesis - all
Steve Miller Band
Bad Company

I could keep going, but that's a good start!
