My Canon AE-1 Program camera was in mint condition, but since it's more than 20 years old I sent it for cleaning/lubrication to Camera Clinic in Nevada.
Steve Sweringen, the master technician, did an outstanding job. He cleaned, lubed and re calibrated the camera. He also cleaned the viewfinder, replaced light shields and mirror cushion. I can't be more happy with his service.
He specializes in Canon FD cameras, but he also does repair all other brands, like Nikon. Highly recommended.
In the picture you can see the camera after the service with my recent acquisition, a "New" Canon FD 50mm f/1.4 lens. You can see my other lenses here.
SLCTV programming offers closed captioning
