Question by Bluebeard's Wife: Is there some kind of word, that describes a person who is fascinated by Catholicism?

I am not into religion, but I am very fascinated by the history, symbolism, traditions, etc of Catholicism. I think it started with my art history classes, in school. I know I'm not the only one, Catholic themes/symbols are everywhere in pop culture.

I'm pretty sure that's called Ecclesiology. (Study of the Church) Ecclesiology comes from the word Ekklesia in greek meaning church. I think the word is Ecclesiophile, or Ecclesioist. Not sure which but the former sounds more correct.
