As it turned out, the neck of Prescott's bass (which is what I was still playing at this point) was bowed and therefore as one moves up the neck the notes don't match those on a guitar with a non-bowed neck. Prior to Bill sleuthing this out, there was some tension between which one of us had not tuned correctly whilst recording.

Anyway, Bill happened to have this Kramer bass laying around. So after the original recording sessions, I re-did all the parts over again with this bass. All in one take!

I did some sleuthing to find SR 37's original path through Indianapolis. I guess there was more than one path through Downtown, but I chose West St. to Bluff Rd. This is southbound West St. at about Maryland.
